Monocalcium Phosphate (MCP)
Monocalcium Phosphate (CaH4P2O8), also known as MCP, is a chemical used in the poultry and animal husbandry, paint, tile, ceramic and chemical industries. It is one of the most necessary raw materials used in chicken and cattle farms and feed mills. The calcium from MCP plays a key role in coagulation, hear performance, muscular and neuronal functions, while Phosphorus is key to appetite, formation of nerve tissues, reproduction, gastrointestinal function and most importantly formation of bone tissues.
